Our story

Why ProfitMax

ProfitMax Accounting and Consultancy was founded to close a gap many startups and growth companies face: they need senior finance expertise — the kind that comes from audit, advisory and hands-on startup experience — but aren't yet ready for a full-time CFO or a large advisory firm.

ProfitMax brings that expertise directly to founders and management teams, combining accounting discipline with financial modelling, valuation, fundraising support and CFO-level advisory.

Founder & Principal

Mohammad Ali Reaz, FCCA, CPA Australia

Mohammad Ali Reaz is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a Member of CPA Australia, with a BBA in Accounting and around ten years of professional experience across accounting, finance, audit, advisory, taxation and fund management.

He began his career with KPMG Bangladesh in audit and advisory services, and has since spent around seven years working closely with startup and growth companies in senior finance roles — supporting fundraising and investor preparation, preparing integrated financial models, conducting business valuations, and designing finance functions, accounting policies, finance SOPs and internal control frameworks.

His experience spans budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, management reporting and KPI frameworks, accounting systems and finance technology, across businesses in technology, mobility, logistics, travel, fintech, agriculture and manufacturing.

Having worked both within professional services and directly inside growing businesses, he brings a practical, founder-facing perspective to building finance functions that support real decisions — not just compliance.
